This Notice on processing of personal data (hereinafter: “Notice”) applies to all personal data of users of the services of the website https://novaconomy.com/rs/en (hereinafter: “Novaconomy”), and regulates the manner in which Novaconomy collects, processes and uses the personal data of its users.
1.2. As users of our services, we are obliged to inform you about the purpose, type and scope in which Novaconomy will collect and process personal data related to you. Novaconomy is the controller of data processing and may engage third parties as data processors and entrust them with the performance of certain actions of processing your personal data. Novaconomy respects your privacy and strives to comply with regulations governing the processing of personal data.
1.3. Novaconomy undertakes to protect the privacy of all its users who have registered on Novaconomy. In order to understand as easily as possible what data we collect from you and how we use it, please read this Notice carefully.
1.4. 1.7. Novaconomy has the right to amend or supplement this Notice at any time by publishing the amended text on its website. Any amendment to this Notice shall be effective immediately upon publication of the new amended version on Novaconomy. The valid Notice is always available on Novaconomy.

2. Collection and use of personal data, purpose of personal data processing and term of personal data storage
2.1. Novaconomy collects only necessary, basic data about users and data necessary for business operations and informing users in accordance with good business practices and with the aim of providing quality service, as detailed in the remainder of this Notice.
2.2. Through registration (filling in an online form), Novaconomy collects personal data, as follows: first and last name, nickname, gender, e-mail address and date of birth. When filling out the online form, every person is given the opportunity to become familiar with the content of this Notice and the terms of protection of personal data, and he/she is informed that by submitting the online form and providing the relevant personal data, he/she agrees to the rules and conditions of protection contained in this Notice.
2.3. By filling out the online form and voluntarily providing his personal data on Novaconomy, the user gives his consent to the processing of personal data related to him for all processing purposes specified in this Notice and confirms that he is familiar with the contents of the Notice and the terms of protection contained in this Notice.
2.4. When engaging in certain activities on Novaconomy, such as sending feedback to us, requesting information about our services, etc., we may ask you to provide us with certain additional personal data relating to you in addition to the data you have already provided to us. provided when registering on Novaconomy, because we need such additional data to enable your involvement in such activities on our website. Otherwise, we will not be able to provide you with the service in question or engage you in the activity in question.
2.5. Novaconomy gives users the ability to decide whether or not they want to be removed from mailing lists used to send marketing messages.
2.7. You can revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time by sending a notification to the e-mail address office@novaconomy.com that you revoke your consent to the processing of personal data related to you. Please note that the revocation of consent does not affect the permissibility of processing your personal data that was carried out on the basis of consent before the revocation. In the event that you revoke your consent to the processing of personal data or ask us to delete the data, we will immediately delete it permanently or it will be anonymized. Also, please note that if you revoke your consent to the processing of personal data, Novaconomy will be forced to delete your user account and will not be able to provide you with the services it provides to other users registered on Novaconomy.
2.8. We keep your personal data all the time for the purpose of providing the services for which you have registered on Novaconomy, i.e. services that become available to you after registration, or longer, if required by law.
3. Access to data and provision of personal data to third parties
3.1. All user personal data is strictly stored and is available only to Novaconomy employees and hired persons who need the data to perform the work assigned to them, that is, entrusted to them. All employees and engaged persons at Novaconomy (as well as business partners) are responsible for acting in accordance with the orders they receive from Novaconomy and are obliged to respect your privacy and store your personal data, in accordance with the rules and conditions contained in this Notice and the legal provisions relating to the processing of personal data.
3.2. Any other provision of personal data to third parties may be carried out exclusively in accordance with the legal regulations governing the protection of personal data.
4. Rights of the person/user to whom the personal data relates
4.1. Novaconomy users who have given us their personal data have rights in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Serbia (Official Gazette of the RS, No. 87/2018; hereinafter: “the Law”), which regulates the protection of personal data personality.
4.2. One of the rights you have under the Law is the right to access your data, which includes, (i) the right to receive various information about your personal data and its processing, and (ii) the right to correct and supplement your personal data. In this regard, Novaconomy believes that every user should be able to ensure that their personal data is accurate, complete and up-to-date. If you believe that your personal data is incomplete, incorrect or out of date, please contact us at the e-mail address office@novaconomy.com , as well as request the appropriate correction or addition of personal data. We recommend that you update your personal data as soon as possible, when they change, by simply logging into your user account on Novaconomy.
4.3. Also, in accordance with the Law, and if the conditions specified in that Law are met, users have the right to request: (i) that their personal data be deleted, (ii) that their processing be restricted by the operator, (iii) that receive from the operator the personal data it has provided to the operator in a structured, commonly used and electronically readable form and transfer the same to another operator (the so-called “right to data portability”), and (iv) to lodge an objection to the operator at any time regarding the processing of their data personal data.
4.4. Additionally, in accordance with the Law, the person to whom the personal data relates has the right to file a complaint with the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Serbia if he believes that the processing of his personal data was carried out contrary to the provisions of the Law.
5. Data protection
5.1. To protect personal data, Novaconomy takes various precautionary measures, as well as technical and organizational measures to protect your data from loss, destruction, unauthorized disclosure or access by third parties.
5.2. You can access your personal data on Novaconomy by logging into your user account using your e-mail address and password. Your password that you use to access your user account is encrypted and it is recommended that you do not disclose your password to anyone. In addition, users’ personally identifiable information is stored on a server that can only be accessed by selected, authorized persons and service providers.
5.3. Users are obliged to take care of the security of their user password and to change it periodically. Your password must not be simple, it must contain a minimum of eight (8) characters (numbers and letters). The password must not contain personal data (name, surname, e-mail, residential address, contact telephone number, date of birth), consecutive or identical numbers, consecutive or identical letters and also words such as: password , code, etc. The system will not allow you to change your password or log in with it, if it does not meet the security requirements.
5.4. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be 100% secure, therefore Novaconomy cannot guarantee the protection of any information transmitted to or from Novaconomy, and is not responsible for the actions of any third party to whom such data become available. In case of unauthorized processing of personal data, the user has the rights guaranteed to him in accordance with the Law.
6. Transfer of personal data to third parties and obligations of the processor
6.1. Novaconomy has the right, under certain conditions and in accordance with the Law, to transfer personal data to third parties, including data processors entrusted with certain processing operations.
6.2. Novaconomy transfers data about its users, taking into account the permitted purposes of processing, personal data processors to whom it entrusts certain processing actions, as well as third parties that need to be included in order to provide the desired service, with the fact that all of the above are contractually obligated to Novaconomy to comply with applicable data protection standards and respect the right to privacy and personal data protection of Novaconomy users, whose personal data is provided to them for processing.
7. Confidentiality of third party data
This Notice only applies to the use of data that Novaconomy collects from its users who have registered with Novaconomy. Other Internet sites that can be accessed through Novaconomy have their own privacy and data collection statements and how they are used, and if you access any such site, we encourage you to review that site’s privacy policy. Novaconomy has no influence on the scope and processing of personal data collected through the websites of third parties and is not responsible for the methods and conditions of operation of third parties.
8. Information Collected in Other Ways
Novaconomy, in addition to the personal data you have provided us, may collect other information from you that cannot identify you, so they are not considered personal data, (such as: data on how the pages are used, files viewed, date and time of visit, IP address, data about your computer, internet provider, your preferences, hobbies, interests, activities), and which allow us to better select data for the user, i.e. in order to improve the pages and to further direct and adjust their contents to the audience that visits them. Based on this data, we find out which contents are the most popular among which audience.
9. Cookies
9.1. In order to improve the quality of our services, we use so-called “cookies” – software with which we analyze the use of Novaconomy and thus collect additional information about the needs of our users. A “cookie” is a small text file, which is stored on the computer or mobile device of the website visitor. They are widely used in order for websites to function, that is, to work in a much better and more efficient way. Devices succeed in this by being able to read and write such files, which allows them to recognize the user and remember important information that allows users to use the website more comfortably (for example by remembering user preferences).
9.2. “Cookies” can normally be rejected or deleted through the appropriate settings on the Internet browser, but this may lead to the inability to fully use some of the functions of our website. “Cookies” also collect and use some technical data, including the user’s IP address. We emphasize that under no circumstances will the persons behind the data be identified or personal data collected. These data are also not linked to personal data that the user may have published. By using Novaconomy, you give your consent to the analysis of the use of this website in the manner described above, and the use of “cookies” for the purpose of collecting, using and storing data.
9.3. In certain situations, we may work with third parties to provide certain services on our website. Other advertisers and other organizations may use their own “cookies” to collect information about your activities on our site and/or the ads you “clicked”. This information can also be used by advertisers to determine the effectiveness of their ads. We do not control third party cookies and to disable or delete them, please contact the relevant third party responsible for the website in question.
9.4. The Novaconomy website uses the Google Analytics platform (service for analyzing “traffic” on the website) of Google Inc. 1600, Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. (hereinafter: “Google”). The Google Analytics platform also uses “cookies”. The information generated by “cookies” about your usage is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Before that Your IP address is shortened within the European Union and is thus anonymous or partially encrypted.Only in special cases is the complete IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
9.5. Google uses this information to analyze your use of the Novaconomy website, to compile a report on the activities on this website and to provide the owner of the website with further services related to the use of the website. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not linked to other Google data. 10. Social Plug-ins
10.1. Novaconomy uses the Facebook Social Plug-In social network Facebook, operated by Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square Dublin 2, Republic of Ireland, and Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94303, USA (hereinafter: “Facebook”). The Plug-Ins in question are “buttons” with which Facebook measures visitors to our website. In addition, Facebook stores other information on the condition that the visitor is also a registered user of Facebook and logged in on the same. Facebook receives your IP address for technical reasons.

10.4. Novaconomy also uses Social Plug-Ins, namely the Microblogging services of the social networks Twitter and Instagram. The services in question are provided by Twitter Inc., 1355 Market St, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA (hereinafter: “Twitter”) and Instagram LLC, 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA (hereinafter: “Instagram”). When you visit Novaconomy that contains such Social Plug-Ins, the browser will automatically connect to Twitter or Instagram.
10.5. By connecting Plug-Ins, Twitter and/or Instagram will receive information that your browser has visited certain pages of our website, even if you do not have a profile on the said social networks or are not currently logged in to your profile on them. The information in question (including your IP address) from your browser is automatically transferred to Twitter and/or Instagram in the USA and stored there.
